School was pepper sprayed today.
There was a meeting to vote out a corrupt student council who’ve been accused of embezzling money. In order to attempt to disrupt the vote, they pepper sprayed the halls, and pulled the alarm to evacuate the school. Twice.

So, it’s a group of all guys, and we’re building solar powered lanterns to send to Ghana for our project. And they definitely treat me like I’m the only girl, which is a little ridiculous for a class where we’re supposed to look past gender roles, but it happens!
Anyways, today was assembly, turning regular lanterns into solar powered ones.

Same. I just miss it, and really wish I’d cut Italy down and spent more time in Paris, because I felt so at home. If you have the opportunity to go back in January, do it! I’ll just be here, being super jealous.

I’m practising my french everyday and looking at all the study abroad possibilities. All I want is to live there right now, and have french breakfast, and wine and just spend all my time exploring.

Mrs Buchanan, apparently. I don’t recall who told me, but when they did I was like “Whaaaat?” Because, I didn’t like her all that much, but apparently she’s his mom.

I didn’t find this out until a few years ago, since she never taught me, but apparently she did a bunch of crafts with her students.
